I am cooking Spaghetti

^ A quickie. I was going to paint this guy, but I instead decided upon a Photoshop filter. Now I'm a real artist!

Lots of floating heads... all facing the same direction... Again, I'm sorry!

Hey Guys, How's it Goin'?

It's been a nutty few months. My excuses for not posting are good... trust me!

^ Way old horse drawings that I found.^ EarthWorm Jim, obviously not my character. The new Interplay website had some of Doug TenNapel's recent EWJ redesigns up for a bit. They were really cool!

Sorry for the cruddy drawings.

More old doodlesss

^ I was telling my old beloved roommate, Mel, about this fly character I have. I was thinking of him as being big enough to smoke cigars, but she was thinking of him being so small that he could only smoke cigar butts!
^ There's a lotta problems with this sucker, but I still really like the drawing. There's something good going on with it.
^I must have drawn this guy really light, because I didn't know he was there until I accidentally scanned him! I don't know why I didn't work through the drawing, and finish it. I love how his cheek is squished up against his cigar. It's kinda cute, even if he's addicted to smoking!

^Gribbit... I think I was working on making a younger version of him. Definitely not what I want, but I think it's a funny

Do you ever feel like you used to draw better than you do now? It has a lot to do with how you were thinking while drawing. I've been in many different places in the past twelve months. Here's some more from my last doodlebook!

Four Month Old Sketchbook Doodles

My girlfriend has a plush dog, and I draw it.

Also, ^this frog was something I drew in another friend's birthday card. She seemed to like it, but I wasn't really digging it. It was originally done with markers (lines in brushpen), and the colors were so saturated that they killed my eyes. I liked it a little more in grey, but... I'll probably be embarrassed by this drawing in about a month!

The drawings in this post were lined with ebony pencil and brushpen. Brushpens are cool.

Yeeehaw!

I bought a Cintiq 12wx! I love the size! I hate how my lines get shaky sometimes, but otherwise, this thing is AWESOME!

Now, to learn how to draw, and put 'er to use!

More Gribbit

Ugh... what was I thinking when I rendered this thing? I'm going to have to go about it a different way, I think. Until then, here it is.

This is going to be for my Dad's lovely wall of 'accomplishments'. He has recently started framing and hanging pieces of paper which represent his children's 'accomplishments'. I don't consider anything I've done academically to be an accomplishment, since they're all something I HAD to do while growing up. It's embarrassing to be represented that way! So, I decided to make some pieces that I can hang up on his 'accomplishments' wall instead.

But, this needs some major work before I'm going to be happy with it. haha

Oh, and here's a little extra something:
